Whilst we have always tried to keep the operational methods of both our Byfleet and Brentwood offices as similar as possible we feel that maybe Brentwood are trying to follow a little too closely these days.
The Brentwood team were so impressed with young Katie who joined us in Byfleet in November they have quickly followed suit and employed their very own young Katie in the form of Katie Wagstaff who joined them towards the end of December.
Katie, who has up until now been at university studying Accountancy and Finance, is 22 and her hobbies include reading, cinema and socialising with friends. Like the Byfleet version she hopes to commence studying for her ACCA exams this year and we all wish her luck with these.
Mark has commented that she brings youth to the Brentwood team with the two Ian's and Lorraine becoming more decrepit - the Byfleet team cannot agree with the suggestion that Lorraine is becoming decrepit and would point out that as Mark celebrates the big 30 on 7th January we are all getting older by the day!
Finally, for those of you who have noticed that we now boast 2 Ian's and 2 Katie's in the firm we can assure you that this is not like a Monty Python sketch and there is no intention for the rest of the firm to change their names by deed poll.
